Weekend Divination Cards - Friday 6th June 2014

Good morning - or rather Good Afternoon!

I am very late with the cards today - having a funny back-to-front day - but I'm getting there and slowly catching up!

I have a tv in the corner of my workroom/office - which is on for most of the day, as I like a little noise and the sound of people in the background (working from home can be lonely at times).

Today on TV it's all about the D Day 70th anniversary celebrations.


It is so very moving, hearing the old soldiers, the veterans, recalling their memories of this day 70 years ago and all the terrible things they went through... I've been in tears several times already.

I cannot begin to imagine what it must have been like - and for their families and loved ones back home, worried sick about their sons, husbands, fathers and friends, not know if they would ever see them again...

Thousands of lives lost.

Heartbreaking.

Giving thanks and counting my blessings...
