Daily Divination Cards - Monday 12th November 2012

Good morning

Quick up-date on my Dad. He has been very 'down' over the weekend - as the enormity of what has happened to him, has begun to hit home.

He feels frustrated that he can only drink water a teaspoon at a time, because it makes him choke, when he would give anything to be able to glug back a gallon of water because he is SO thirsty! (Not surprising as he has barely been able to drink anything for past 12 days...)

He can't hold anything, or feed himself - and he's only allowed puréed food, smooth yogurt and icecream - as his throat is still very swollen inside - which is not surprising as they went in through the front of his neck and had to move 'things' over internally, to get to the abscess and remove the disc from his spine.

The uncertainty of the outcome of the operation is worrying him (and all of us) as my Dad has always been such a fit, active, independant man - and trying to get him to just rest and be a patient patient is not easy. He is SO lucky that the operation went well and that he is actually able to move his limbs...

It's onward and upward! I am positive he is improving a little every day - and I believe it's all down the wonderful people who have been sending healing and praying for him - for which I shall be eternally grateful.
