Divinatory meaning: The King appears to represent powers of justice, authority, the law, and male sexual energy. When the King appears on your path, it’s time to put your house in order, complete any unresolved legal issues and deal with issues related to fairness. The King always lets you know that something significant is yours to experience and learn from.
The King requires you to take inventory of anything left undone and do it. Pay bill, settle arguments, make amends, and act with authority, as all these actions abolish weakness and restore power. You’re also reminded that the King is regarded in highest esteem and, within his natural authority, he acts with intelligence and strategy. Think and analyze, and the King will bestow great gifts on you.
There is another meaning when the King appears on your path. If you’re enquiring about a and your relationship with him, the King stands to represent him, which will bode well, or not so well, depending on which other cards flank him.
Pay attention, for the King reminds you to take affirmative action in your life.

TAURUS:
THE GRAIL KNIGHT - romance, illusion, seeking the sacred.
Romance, and the seeking of that which is sacred - such are the missions of the Grail Knight. He represents the coming together of all elements to form perfect life through a union of heaven and earth; or he signifies a romantic union of lover with lover.
In the beginning of all relationships, there’s a time when everything is perfect. One seeks out the discovery of love in the treasures of the other, all the while holding up a mirror in which beauty and perfection are reflected. There is both truth and illusion.
When the Grail Knight appears, he lets you know that your own beauty, perfection, and innermost desires may be reflected in the mirror that is held up by the love of another. Indeed, love is in the air. Perhaps it’s also a time for you to fall in love with yourself. If you don’t , you run the risk of attracting the same affirmation from the outside world. Love attracts love. Be love and you will find love.
A gentle warning: Light cannot exist without shadow, so don’t be fooled by the illusion of perfection. Be willing to see the shadow, and ask for honesty. Then you can never be disappointed.

THE FIRE FAERY - creative action, optimism

THE EAGLE - spirit, integrity, connection to the angelic realm
Divinatory reading: When the Eagle appears, it is a true signal of your connection to the angelic realm. With your angel's help and guidance, you can soar above life to see the larger vista. The Eagle helps you to make your choices accordingly, with integrity.
When you pray to your angels, they will always answer, for they patiently wait for you to call upon them for assistance. The angels reside beside you, always hoping to aid humankind in finding peace, manifesting abundance and prosperity.
The Eagle also asks you to remember to soar high above life and look at the big picture. Don’t get too caught up in the tiny, unimportant aspects of life. The spiritual world is the real one - your physical life is the dream.
When the Eagle appears, it’s also a signal for prayer. It’s time for a moment of conscious contact with the Divine. Remember that you’re always protected and Divinely directed if you follow the guidance of spirit as it appears in the form of the Eagle.

VIRGO:
Divinatory meaning: This marker reminds you to protect yourself and to be wary of hidden agendas. Are you being too open? Perhaps you don’t realise it, but you may find that you’re a target for others, especially if you are shining brightly. Yet this isn’t a time to dim your light; rather, remember that a spiritual warrior or priestess would always learn how to camouflage him or herself, and be armed against potential attack.
This is about the right use of power rather than the use of force - the former coming from a place of highly calibrated integrity; the latter from a lower base of destructive energy. Remember to walk the higher ground but wear a cloak for protection.
Ask your angels and guides to protect you, for they will always come if they’re asked. And be moderate in all you do - this isn’t the place to take risks.
This marker also lets you know that the subject of your enquiry cannot in any way hurt you as long as you ask for protection. The divine will give it.

LIBRA:
The Bard - music, poetry, myth, history, the enchantment of storytelling.
Divinatory meaning: This card represents music; storytelling; and the passing of truths, myths, and legends from generation to generation through the spoken word or song. In ancient Avalon, the traditions and stories of the people were gathered on leaves that served as letters in a living alphabet and were tended in vast, long houses. Here the Druids and priestesses came to read and weave the stories of magic and the sacred relationship to the God/Goddess and the Mystery.
Those schooled in the art of music and storytelling were given the task of informing their world and keeping the stories of their culture alive. They were given the name of Bard.
When the bard appears you're asked to seek answers in your own personal history. Go back into your own story and find the threads of the patterns in your reality and trace their length to the present. Perhaps you'll be surprised by how much of your past, or that of your ancestors, still weaves its influence on you today.
When the Bard appears he asks you to retrieve the stories woven in the past. Perhaps you need to learn about the history of someone, or something important in your inquiry. The seeds of the future are always hidden in the soil of the past. It's time to dig a little to find the clarity you need. Don't be afraid to learn the patterns of history. The only way to honour them or change them is to know them.
Perhaps it is time to listen to music and allow yourself to be carried into the land of memory and listen for its messages as the strings of your soul are strummed by the hand of the Divine. Remember that the Bard appears to help you stay in tune with All-That-Is.
You are music, and your story is sung in the heavens.

Divinatory meaning: When you see the Butterfly, know that the power of beauty is in your life. The Butterfly reminds you to see through its eyes and watch the world be transformed. Beauty is in the eye of the one who looks for it.
Today, look for the loveliness even in the darkest places, and you’ll be amazed. All of the Mystery is beautiful. Beauty is everywhere. You just have to open your eyes.
The next step can only be achieved if you do this today.

THE QUEEN - woman, fertility, feminine power, sexuality, friendships

Look after yourself and remember to nurture your friendships. The Queen knows that she needs allies in the world to sustain her, and in return, she shares her wealth with you.

THE WASP - anger, retaliation, jealousy
Divinatory meaning: The Wasp has a stinger that hurts with poison when confronted. Be mindful of how you address the world when Wasp appears on your path. If you’re not careful you may sting or be stung. The Wasp reminds you that pain is a choice, don’t waste your stinger on a petty quarrel. Are you jealous or envious, or the victim of someone who is? Jealousy and envy are the children of fear and lack - send love, light and compassion, and stay clear of the sting.
Mind your own business today, and save it for a life-and-death situation. Chances are that whatever comes up today is smaller than you perceive it to be in the grand scheme of things. On the other hand, when you feel the sting of a wasp, be smart and swat it away! Defend yourself!

THE FROG - cleaning house, releasing emotional baggage.
Divinatory meaning: The Frog says that it's time to clean house and get rid of the clutter in your environment, your head, and your heart. Move out any objects, thoughts, or relationships that hold you back. It’s time to get rid of anything that clutters your life or space with unwanted burdensome energy, or anything that weighs heavily on your heart.
Look around you and take stock of what surrounds you. Does what you see hold positive support and energy? If not, it’s time to throw away and release you from its influence. When the Frog appears, it’s always spring and time for cleaning your house so you can allow new and fresh energy to enter your world.
The Frog says, “It's time to release all things no longer appropriate to bring on your journey.
Then you can hop to the next lily pad, light and free.”

PISCES:
THE COW - nourishment, abundance, asking, receiving
Divinatory meaning: The Cow says, “Take my milk; I can always feed you. I’ll eat the grass of the God/Goddess and, in turn, pass good fortune on to you. Nourishment is never-ending when I appear on your path. Don’t forget to till the soil so that grass may grow. Abundance is made manifest out of a universal system. Do your part, and I will do mine with joy. Ask, and you will receive all the blessings I have to offer.
The Cow reminds you that there is no shortage of blessings in the world. Ask to partake in infinite abundance, and you will, indeed, get exactly what you need.
