Daily Divination Cards - Tuesday 26th November 2013

Greetings!

It's a very cold and frosty morning - but the sun is shining in a sparkling blue sky - which makes all the difference :)

I hope you enjoyed the Piggy Personality Test yesterday? A bit of fun to start the week!

Today I thought I would share some more gemlore with you, from my In*Sync archives!

This time it's all about Aventurine.

Aventurine is a beautiful green stone which is associated with the heart chakra and with healing of the mind, body and spirit.

When worn it is calming and peaceful, and yet brings an alertness of mind - aiding in the thought processes, helping with beneficial decision making.



It is thought to strengthen the eyesight, not only in the physical sense, but also bringing ‘clearer vision’ with which to view your situation.

Aventurine is thought to be a very lucky stone and is used in Magikal rites to attract wealth. It is also carried, or worn, as a talisman by those who like to gamble and play games of chance.



Here’s a nice little wealth attraction ritual you might like to try… preferably on a Thursday (and on a New Moon, or Full Moon it would be more powerful, but avoid doing the ritual if there is a waning moon - you don’t want your wealth to dwindle away to nothing!).

Take a green candle and anoint it with Patchouli Oil. Surround the candle with pieces of Aventurine (or you can place an Aventurine bracelet around the base of the candlestick). Next just take a few moments to calm your mind and focus your intention on your wish, then light the candle - you can speak your wish out loud, or say a silent prayer, or if you prefer, write your wish on a piece of green paper then light it from the flame, allowing it to burn down in a fire-proof container.

Let the candle burn for as long as you can (safety first - don’t leave the candle burning unattended during the night!) and sprinkle any ashes on to the earth.

Ask you angel to enfold you during this waiting period so that you can listen to the promptings of the Divine.

Do not rush off on some wild goose-chase of your lower will.

When the time is right and you are ready and refreshed, the next door will open.

Patience is always rewarded.
