My personal card for today:
Movement / Growth / Re-visioning Process
Look at her, sitting on a young green leaf like a bud just about to open into full flower. This is the faerie of Growth. Growth can mean so many things. One thing it always means is movement and change. Growth doesn’t standstill. Growth by it’s very nature is a constantly changing process. To stay on one mindset or one mode of being is to stagnate. If you move through life with an awareness of everything around you, you will grow. You won’t be able to help it.
If you draw this card, take time to think about how your life is changing and how you can direct that change for the good. If your life seems to be stagnant, then this card is especially helpful for you. Look at the Faerie of Growth and feel the energy of her unfolding wings. She is about to take flight and discover a new adventure. You can take flight, too. You don’t have to fly far or explore distant lands, you just have to take a step forward and see where that step leads you. So spread your wings and grow.

Quick message: Bueboe the Fixer has been fixing things since the time of the great plagues in Europe. In Venice he white-washed over everything in sight, hoping to keep the plague at bay. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t, but he never stopped doing his job. He is just as busy today, constantly white-washing things that he thinks would be best left unseen. Do you find yourself constantly trying to make things better by covering them up instead of addressing them? Things that are covered up have an alarming way of surfacing at inconvenient times. Lies, once told, grow and multiply until no amount of whitewash will cover them. When Bueboe appears, think about how you handle situations that need attention, and try doing more than just covering them up. Facing things can be scary but sometimes a lick of paint just won’t do.

What does the relationship feel like? This can be a relationship with a person, a place, or idea - whatever is manifesting itself in your life at this time. Connect with the emotion of what is occurring. Go back to the source of the relationship, the dream that began it, and think about what is happening right now. When you change on a profound level, those changes can take a long time to become manifest in the world. You may not see or feel changes in your life immediately, but things will change.

Quick message: The poor Rox - always ill. Sniffles, aches and pains, a slight temperature - he just can’t gather the energy to help himself but he always has enough energy to get you to help him. Do you know someone like this? This person is a master of manipulation. He can get you to do anything for him because he uses guilt as a finely honed tool. It’s very difficult to say no to someone as needy as this person appears to be, but every once in a while try saying that you just can’t do whatever it is he’s asking of you. She may try to dissuade you from your task by whispering undermining thoughts in your ear. She is testing you. Don’t give in. Stand up to her and she will gladly step aside and let you pass. If you are thinking about beginning a new relationship or venture, but the voice in your head keeps whispering that you’re just not good enough to even consider it, remember that this is a challenge. You are being tested, so go for it, and you’ll be surprised at how much you can achieve.
Sagittarius:
The Faerie of Naughtiness
Lighten Up / Mischief / Misrule
Quick message: Sometimes you just have to be naughty. The Faerie of Naughtiness asks you to step outside of your boundaries for a moment and do something unexpected. She dares you to change the energy of a situation by doing the one thing that will tilt the universe just a tiny bit. Sometimes you can change that energy just by thinking. Naughty thoughts can lighten a situation without anyone else having to know about it. If you don’t acknowledge her, if you ignore her, you may become the target for her own naughtiness. She’s very good at stealing things, losing wallets, misplacing important letters and important thoughts, so when it looks like it’s going to be one of those days when little things go wrong and circumstances become predicaments, acknowledge the Faerie of Naughtiness, and get her on your side again. She just wants to play.

Quick message: This is a lady who visits us all from time to time. She is a hoarder of hurts and slights, a connoisseur of sorrow. She has built a wall around her heart with the collected wrongs that have been done to her. She has never learned to let things go. She can’t bear the thought of forgiveness when she knows that she’s in the right. Does this sound familiar? If she turns up ion a reading, examine what old hurts and sorrows you are holding on to. Even if you can only identify one, take that one hurt out of the wall you’ve been building and let a little light back into your heart. To feed on hurts and sorrows is to live, perhaps, but never to thrive. In order to thrive, you need light and compassion, so begin to forgive, forget, and let the light in.

The Shadow of the Past
Past Love / Letting Go / Resolution
Quick message: The past can haunt, especially past relationships, and past loves. In Faerie, when you wander in the past, time takes on a different meaning. Things that may have happened years ago resurface as very “present” feelings and emotions. The Shadow of the Past can be a help or a hindrance on your life’s journey. If this card turns up, perhaps things that were left unsaid at the end of a relationship could be said now in Faerie. If you do so, the shadow, if unneeded and unwanted, may depart and the haunting end. On the other hand, if you enjoy encounters with the past, then greet your old love with joy and listen to what it has to tell you, and let it go freely. Holding onto the past can be an unproductive thing if it blinds or deafens you to what is happening now. Letting go can lift the shadow of the past and make way for the joy of the future.

Oh No!
Just One of Those Days / Obstructions / The Unexpected
Quick message: He’s been waiting a long time to be picked! He’s so eager to do his job, and it’s easy to guess what his job is. You guessed it. It’s making sure that things aren’t going to go the way you want them to go. You break your favourite cup and superglue your hand to it while trying to stick the handle back on; you burn the toast and remember that it was the last of the bread that you that you were supposed to be using for a sandwich for lunch. Just accept that sometimes life isn’t what you expect and certainly not what you think it should be. When Oh No! turns up, be philosophical about it. It’s just going to be one of those days; all you can do is go with it and try to keep your sense of humour.
