Good morning!
I hope you've had a good weekend? I had a very productive one!
My office/workshop has long been in need of a major re-organisation and I made a good start this weekend :)
On Saturday I spent the day moving around the furniture - pushing, pulling, dragging and wiggling things into place - changing around the work areas and units, and re-siting the storage units, and the computer desk - along with the computer, printer, monitor, etc. Which was no mean feat, as anyone who has had the misfortune to visit my 'office' would attest! So much stuff crammed into every space!
Although I worked Saturday and Sunday, I still have loads to do - but it's mainly going through paperwork and having a good clearout that is next on the agenda...
I confess that I am rather a hoarder, so it is not an easy task for me to throw things away... but it must be done!
My workspace already feels much improved and it is nice to have specific areas designated for specific stock - which is in the process of being labelled and stored in a very organised fashion.
I now have an area for making my Bagz of Blessingz, another area for storing my online Cheeky Witch stock, another for all the packaging needed for sending out orders - and another for storing all my stuff for doing fairs and festivals!
Hopefully, by the time I have finished, I will also have space for putting up a folding table in the middle of the room - for when I want to make some jewellery and other bits'n'bobs.
I have also managed to leave a space to fit in a small sofa bed, for putting up the odd visitor overnight!
So, after giving myself a good kick up the butt on Saturday, to make a start on this dreaded task (which I'd been putting off for ages) I can now give myself a well-deserved pat on the back, for a job well done - or at least a job well begun ;)
However, for now, it's a new week with the usual Manic Monday to get through - so time to get on with the cards for today!
