Good morning!
First things first! I would like to wish my wonderful Mum a very Happy Birthday!
I popped in to see Mum earlier, with Maisie before we went for our walk, and she was sitting there, opening prezzies - surrounded by loads of cards and gifts! She is a very popular lady because she is such a lovely, kind, caring and beautiful person. I am so lucky to have such an amazing Mum :)
Dad is taking her out into town later (he has a little something planned) and then treating her to a 'Fish and Chips' supper this evening, which is what she wants for her birthday meal! Yummy! (Wish I wasn't on a diet...)
Last night Richard and I went to the new Ballroom Dancing practice classes that our friends Jill and Adam have started up locally. We had great fun! They are very good and patient teachers... It's amazing what a good work-out you get from ballroom dancing - I'm aching a bit this morning! Can't wait to go again next week :)
It's a lovely sunny day today and we had a nice walk in the beach - bumping into some friends and having a natter and quick catch up, but then Maisie was naughty and didn't want to come home. She decided she wanted to go swimming instead! In the end I had to put her on her lead and drag her home!
I know how she feels, I'm reluctant to start working and keep looking longingly out the window, but the clock is getting round there and I really should get on with some orders...
