Good morning!
What a glorious day! Brilliant sunshine, blue skies and a lovely crisp cold autumnal air... I love this time of the year :)
I'm still on a high from yesterday - I went to my Slimming World group and I'd lost 2 1/2lb this week! Meaning that I've now lost 7lb, so I got my first 1/2 stone award and a precious sticker for my book! Yay!
That means I'm on track - as I had hoped to lose 7-10lb by Halloween, because I want to wear my Vampire outfit this year... I shall be able to wear it now, but another 3lb off would make me feel better! The next goal will be to get into a black dress that I bought a couple of months ago (to 'slim into') with Christmas in mind... I can do it!
Another busy day ahead - lots of Christmas orders are already starting to come in now and I really need to get myself organised in readiness for the coming weeks. Last year I didn't know if I was coming or going all through November and the first half of December - working 18 hours a day!
My personal card for today is rather apt - Self Discipline - when you are self-employed, work and live alone, with only yourself and your own hard work (and happy customers!) to rely on for income, you really do need to have self-discipline and there are times when I don't! I can get easily distracted... especially on the internet...
