Good morning!
Yesterday my personal card for the day was "Decisions" and having felt dreadful all day, through lack of sleep the night before, I made the 'decision' to detach myself from the outside world (by switching off the TV, my mobile phone and computer, and unplugging my landline) and to go to bed early. I was in bed by 9:15pm.
Now that may not seem to be a big deal, but it is for me! Not only am I more of a night-time person (rarely go to bed before midnight) but I am also online virtually all the time! I earn my living online, it is how I keep in touch with online friends and family who do not live near me. In the evenings I enjoy going on the social sites and trying to keep up with what's going on everywhere... I suppose it's almost an addiction... To detach myself from the world wide web and go to bed early was a big decision! I slept for about 10 hours - so I guess I needed it...
I'm feeling good today - refreshed and ready to accomplish lots! Although slightly nervous about going to my Slimming World group this evening and getting weighed in... Fingers crossed, I've lost a couple of pounds this week...
(I wrote that last sentence before drawing my personal card for today - which as usual is rather appropriate! lol)
