I'm running late again today. So much for me trying to get more organised!
Time management has always been a problem for me.
The trouble is I have so many 'balls in the air' and I have to do a lot of juggling! Maybe I should have joined a circus ;)
Well, it's Friday again (already!) so let's do some Spirit Inspiration Cards for the weekend, like last week :)
As a reminder, if you missed it last Friday...
Several years ago I came up with a little deck of cards, which I called "Spirit Inspiration Cards" - just a small set of cards which I printed myself
and put in a pretty organza bag.
The idea was to shuffle the cards, pick at least one - preferably three - and endeavour to carry out the task on the card within one week.
I designed these cards as a sort of teaching, healing and meditation deck, with very simple tasks, inspired by Spirit.
I've decided to draw 3 cards on Fridays and if you like, you can try to carry out at least one of the 'tasks' over the weekend.
The first card is:
Practice Patience.
I had this message earlier this week - definitely not my strong point! Just try to remember "Only fools rush in" and "Good things come to those who wait" :)
The second card is:
Be True to Yourself.
We all want to be liked and loved, and often do things to please others, even if it means compromising your own beliefs and sometimes your own personal ethics. It's not worth it. If others don't like or love you for who you are, it's their loss. It's not always easy, however, you will be a happier, healthier person if you don't live a lie and are true to yourself.
The third card is:
Give someone a Hug!
Hugs are wonderful and can mean so much. A hug can be joyous, congratulatory, comforting... no words are needed, every emotion can be expressed in that beautiful, loving, heart-to-heart moment.
Almost lunchtime and I have lots of orders to make, so I must get a move on!
