Good morning!
It was to be expected (and Richard thinks I got off lightly) but I put on 1.5lbs this week :(
(He stayed them same, lucky devil!)
That'll teach me to fall off the wagon and succumb to my chocoholism this past weekend. (I did enjoy it though!)
Got to get back on track... It's very easy to start slipping into old bad habits, especially when you are under a lot of stress, as I am at the moment...
I have everything crossed that a much-needed and very late delivery of stock items arrives today, or I don't know what I'm going to do... I've been stressing abut that for the past week. I hope the Royal Mail haven't lost my parcel!
Also I have an estate agent coming to value my home later today, for my landlord. I do hope that doesn't mean they want to sell and I'm going to have to find a new home! He assures me that is not the case, but it is a worry. I really love it here and I don't want to move again. I have moved 7 times in the past 11 years. That's the problem with having to rent your home, no feelings of security or permanence. A lottery win would come in handy right now, then I could buy this place, which would be wonderful :)
No wonder I keep feeling the need to reach for some 'comfort food'.
I have to remind myself that 'worrying is pointless' and not think about all the 'what ifs' and 'if onlys' and focus on what I can actually achieve today instead. Onward and upward!
