I can't belive that it's 3 years ago today that I first started this blog! How time flies!
A lot has happened in my life in the past 3 years, including becoming a grandmother to my adorable grandaughter, Gabriella.
We had a really nice day yesterday visiting my daughter Lucy, Gary and Gabriella in Lewes.
We had a barbecue for lunch (second barbecue of the weekend) then we had a lovely walk through Lewes and visited the Priory ruins.

Actually we had a very busy weekend - making the most of the glorious weather.
We took Maisie out for a nice long walk on The Downs on Saturday - followed by the treat of an icecream cone each (including one for Maisie).
Then we had a lovely evening at a friend's barbecue - lots of good food (some very yummy desserts!) and generous amounts of alcohol, followed by some dancing to try to work off some of the 'syns' I'd consumed!
Must get back on the diet today though - which shouldn't be too difficult as it's 'Manic Monday' and I don't think I'll have time to eat much today...
