Good morning!
Another bright, sunny, but freezing cold morning - when Maisie and I went for our walk on the beach, there were icicles on the groynes, where the sea water had frozen!
All behind and very tired this morning - as the 'Derby Girls' arrived rather later than expected... about 1am!
When 'PsychoKat' (my daughter Katie), 'Nutty Skull' and 'Dirty Century' arrived - Maisie was very wary, growling and not very friendly - the roller derby girls can be a bit intimidating :P
However, I gave them some treats to give to Maisie and now they are all BFFs! She'll have another new friend this afternoon when 'Maudite Chessnut' arrives!
Katie wants me to go roller skating with them this evening, but as I have not worn a pair of skates for at least 20 years and was never very steady on my wheels anyway - and would prefer not to break a hip - I've decided that it's probably safer for me to just watch ;)

Lots to do, before I can relax with the girls (we're having an Indian take-away this evening, then the roller disco, then heading to the pub!) so here are your cards and affirmations for Friday!
