Good morning!
It's Friday again already! Another week has just flown by.... In fact February seems to have 'whooshed' past!
The month began with my daughter Katie and some of her fellow Nantes Derby Girls team mates coming over from France for a long weekend.
They went to a Roller Derby boot camp in London - you can read about the event by clicking >>here<< (Did you know that Roller Derby is becoming the fastest growing women's sport in the world?!)
It snowed that same weekend and then I came down with a nasty virus (which I still havent completely shifted).
On the 9th of Feb I broke one of my New Year Resolutions and joined an online dating site - www.oasis.com...
(What can I say? I was going out more, with my married friends, but the only men I was coming into contact with, were propping up the bar at the local pub... not the sort of guys I was looking for!)
Well, before I had even filled in my profile properly, up popped 'Richard' and we chatted online for a few hours that night, and for several hours the following night, and then on the phone practically all that weekend.... we've been seeing each other ever since and I'm a very happy bunny... My cards have been so spot on this week ;)
On the 14th it was my darling grandaughter's 2nd birthday. Gabriella is so adorable and she loved all her prezzies - here are some photos that were taken on the day:
On the 17th it was my eldest daughter Aimee's 30th birthday. We had a really fun girl's night out - starting with a chinese buffet, then a little karaoke and finally dancing the rest of the night away at a little club in town... Unfortunately we have no photos of that great night out, as the camera that we'd taken was lost (or stolen?) during the night and sadly we didnt realise until the next morning :(
As I said - this past week has just flown by and I can't believe that it is the Oscars weekend already! (As I am in the UK, I usually stay up all night and watch The Oscars... it has to be done!)
Gosh - look at the time! I had better get stuck into today's emails and start making my orders!
