Good morning!
I had a busy day yesterday, multi-tasking - making my Ebay and Amazon orders, while also making some of my 'infamous' Chocolate Couscous Cake and Couscous 'Quiche', to take to my Slimming World group. I was nervous that no one would like it, as it can be a bit of an acquired taste - like 'marmite' you either love it or hate it... Luckily it appears that most people quite liked it - especially the chocolate one - and took the recipe home with them :)
One of my New Year resolutions was to lose 50lbs before Christmas 2012. I lost another pound this week, so that's 4.5 lbs off since the new year. I'm back on track after the Christmas 'diet holiday' and feeling very determined and motivated. I'm going to do it slowly and steadily and this IS going to be the year I reach my target weight!
If you are also trying to lose weight, I can heartily recommend Slimming World. You can do it online - but the best way is to join a local group, the support and encouragement, and hearing about other peoples' struggles and more importantly, their perseverance and amazing successes is a great motivator! I have tried finding a link to The 'Just for Today' cards and can't find any, other than some listed on amazon for an incredibly expensive price! (I don't understand how they can be so expensive, as my set was very reasonable, although I have had them for quite a few years...)
