Daily Divination Cards - Monday 21st May 2012

Good morning!

Did you have a good weekend? We managed to pack in a lot, including the mundane, not-so-enjoyable stuff - like washing, housework and a little gardening... (Thanks Richard!)

But also nice stuff - like taking Maisie out for a couple of enjoyable country walks.

She's used to going on the beach everyday, so it's exciting for her to go to different places - there are lots of new interesting smells for her to sniff out. We went on a lovely walk near Herstmonceaux Castle.

We also saw this amazing fallen tree trunk! "How great would that be in my garden!" I thought - lovely for my grandaughter to play in.... Sadly Richard pointed out that it would be impossible to take home with us... Teehee :)




As usual Maisie managed to find a wet and muddy spot to jump around in. If there's water about, she will always find a way to get wet! Luckily Richard had some rags and wipes in the van, so we could give her a bit of a wipe down - then we headed down the beach and let her have a good swim in the sea, to help wash the mud off! She loved it :)

On Saturday evening we got all dressed up to go to a 'Dance Social' organised by our friends Jill and Adam. I got to wear a dress that I've not been able to get into until now!




I did go off my diet a little, but we had great fun, getting to practice our rumba, cha cha cha, jive and social foxtrot! The hall was only booked until 10:30pm, so afterwards we all went over to the local pub and danced the rest of the night away (and hopefully danced off the extra calories that I'd 'embibed' and consumed during the evening)!

As usual, Manic Monday comes round much too fast - so I'd better start wading through the all the emails, queries and orders that have come in over the weekend...
